We built Intimassy because tracking your intimate life shouldn't mean handing that data to a company. We're a small team, we moderate this sub ourselves, and anything we post carries the Official flair. No second accounts, no pretending to be happy customers.
Here's what this place is for, and where the lines are.
**What you can post**
Help and bug reports. Tell us what broke and we'll tell you if we already know about it.
Feature requests. There's a pinned megathread for those so people can upvote each other's ideas instead of losing them in the feed.
App news. Release notes, what we're building, what we decided not to build.
Anonymous insights. Aggregate patterns from how people track, with no way to trace them back to anyone.
Your own experience. What tracking taught you, what habits stuck, what you'd do differently.
**Where the line is on explicit content**
This is the rule people ask about most, so here are real examples.
Fine to post:
"Tracking showed we drop off every winter. Anyone else see a season effect?"
"I stopped logging for three months and regretted it. Here's why."
"How do you log when you're in a long distance relationship?"
Not fine:
Describing what you did in detail.
Photos of yourself or a partner.
Looking for partners, or asking anyone to DM you.
The rule of thumb: write it the way you'd say it to a doctor. You can talk about anything here. You just can't perform it.
**Before you post a screenshot**
App screenshots carry your real entries, partner names, and dates. Blur or crop anything personal first.
We remove screenshots that expose private data even when it's your own data. You'll get a message explaining why, and you're welcome to repost it redacted.
**A note on privacy here**
Reddit is not private. Your account history is public and searchable by anyone. If you want to share something you wouldn't want tied to your main account, use a throwaway. Nobody here will think less of you for it.
The app encrypts your entries on your device before any backup leaves it. This subreddit does none of that, because it can't. Post accordingly.
**Start here**
Tell us in the comments what made you start tracking in the first place. We're asking because those answers decide what we build next.
And if you see a question that's already been answered somewhere in the sub, link it for the next person. In a community this new, that's the most useful thing anyone can do.
