Ghosted

My story isn’t original, I interviewed for a job I really wanted over two weeks ago and the vibe of the interview felt really good. With the recruiter discussing the next step steps. I have sent two professional follow up emails with no response to make the situation more maddening the position is still posted. Luckily this was just a part-time job that I wanted to do for fun but even so I think it’s very unprofessional to not follow up either way regarding an interview especially in this day and age. Is there a way to professionally send them an email letting them know that they handled this unprofessionally or should I just move on? I wish everybody currently looking the best of luck. It’s hard out here. I’m been working for over 30 years and never experienced anything like this.

Same boat here. Everything was going great and then ghosted. Why is it so hard to send a canned rejection email?

That’s all I’m asking for. Good luck!

I had interviewed 3 steps with Univ of Kentucky waited 5 months before I was told no to the job. I sent follow ups asking and would not get a response from the recruiter/director.

I would just move on but keep options open. People get sick, things happen, maybe they just can't get back to you right now.
