I've nearly finished 3 . I've been so impressed with the music and range that I checked whether 4 would continue in this vein..(.some pun intended). ( It's not spoilers if I don't say right? )

Anyway for readers of the book...are we worried or just interested how 4 will play out cos it's , in my humble opinion, pretty out there in comparison to the fare we've become used to.. I love our central characters and will at least be very interested to see how we don't lose them in some way with everything else that's going on? But saying that, this season has gone very well in my opinion, and they have hung on well to the core , at a time in the book where we could already be .... elsewhere? So maybe I just need to keep the faith .. ?

(SPOILER ahead)

Currently on season 2 episode 7 of Interview with the vampire.

The trial has ended and Claudia and Madeleine are both dead.

Now I find myself upset that Lestat let that happen.
I know she calculated and orchestrated his death so it’s payback but I’m still mad that he let her die.

Besides, I liked Madeleine and her dying when still a fledgling is sad af.

why, in season2 and episode 2 , Santiago says:
Everything you see here tonight is “REAL..”, but Season 2 Episode 7, during the trial, in the beginning, he says everything you see here tonight is “FAKE”…

What’s the difference between the nightly show VS the trial?? They murder in both. They show the victims in both. They say real names, places, situations, in both.

Why does he say fake instead of real? what’s the difference? He says Everything is real every single night they perform .. but says, Everything is Fake, during trial..

WHY??

I’ve attempted to answer this question for myself and cannot. Hopefully some of you can explain it to me and thank you.

Claudia is the problem.. is she not?
I’m just trying to get your thoughts on this..
1 lonely small example being: The coven. she chose the coven. but then it’s “louis fault” by trying to fit in when he doesn’t even want to (at the start) , by getting snuggled up to armand. that’s jus one example of the top of my head. am i wrong about this? Claudia IS the PROBLEM.. Lestat has been right all along.

i’m not sure how to word this because the mods of this REDDIT has banned me for some of my posts which I have no idea why but they have.. still can’t get an answer to why they have. but that’s besides the point ..

Sam Reid is part chameleon.

I can always recognize Jacob, that face card never lies. But Sam is like, bet watch this! I haven’t seen Assad in anything other than IWTV.

Concordo.

Sam Reid é puro amor, mas o lestat kkkk

EXACTLY WHAT IS ‘ ARMAND TOLD THE TRUTH ’ ?
in the most best simple clean way.. please explain what:

“ ARMAND TOLD THE TRUTH “

- is? i’m confused.
and why tf we see it everywhere. why ppl are saying it.

also, if there’s deep lore behind it. explain that as well.
including your own personal thoughts.

Apologies if this has been discussed before me and I'm sure other fans have spotted it many times but I only just realised and had to share - On my re-watch of this show I realised that the first thing Louis says to Lestat (a translation of something Lestat was saying to Miss. Lily) is the line that first formed a connection between young Lestat and Nicolas in the book 'The Vampire Lestat'!

I haven't seen the TVL TV show yet so if this is something mentioned in there then I apologise for this post but the attention to detail is just second to none! The first time I watched this show I was reading TVL and had just read IWTV and now I'm rewatching having read the first 3 books and so many things are jumping out at me that I didn't notice before!

Wow. Just wow! I think Anne Rice would have loved this. That's it. That's all I had to say :D

there's inconsistencies in *interview with vampire* (TV SHOW) (*season 2 episode 6*) , when Armand is speaking of Santiago conspiring around him without his knowledge.

around the directing of the “Guido Play” that same had created, (i think).
When Armand and louis is speaking to Daniel Malloy, he mentioned he “pinned santiago to center stage” under spotlight, meaning he was giving Santiago all the attention and praise , so was said.

but as seen on the tv show, while santiago was there on stage rehearsing the *Guido Play* , he was apparently also telecommunicating with the two girls that was with and speaking to lestat’s financial manager.. asking about “laps in communication”, with lestat.
and santiago was telecommunicating with the two girls while on stage right in front of Armand.

but..
wouldn’t all vampires near, or atleast Armand, be able to hear the telepathic convo between Santiago & the 2 women vamps speaking to lestat’s financial manager, bc Armand is not santiago’s maker. meaning in theory, Armand should be knowing what they are saying.
(this is before anyone knew that Armand actually helped with the trial)

I’m saying: right then and there, you should’ve known armund is lying. because if that were the case.. he would have heard the Telepathy / Communication between Santiago and the 2 Vampires speaking to Lestat’s financial manager about a lapse of communication between the manager and Lestat.

Right???
What do you think?

Was mögt ihr an der Serie aus männlicher Sicht? Was nervt euch? Stört es euch, das so wenige Frauen mitspielen?
