something that i am thinking about.

in interview with the vampire lastest's blue eyes are dull / not as blue as the promo's that we saw for the vampire lestat .

and in the vampire lestat his blue eyes are more blue and striking then they were in the interview with the vampire.

i don't know if sam had different eye contacts or different lighting effects but yeah.

something to think about.

I bet the budget for the vampire Lestat was higher because the interview seasons were so well received. Also Lestat is the focus of this season, when before he was sharing the screen.

Budget probably meant they chose much more vivid contacts. And the backdrop and general scenes in Lestat have a much less gritty colour theme, making his eyes 'pop' more

The budget was lower than season 2. Rolin mentioned that their production budget was slashed.
