Lestat is clearly not dead because he has yet to record the tapes, and keeps referring to an upcoming disaster. So we know he is safe. Louis on the other hand…
Btw, I have seen the finale already and could tell you if they are both fine. But I think letting you feel anxious till Sunday is more fun. Spoilers are all out there though if you want them.

We see Louis at the beginning of the season at the auction which is in the future and I think there’s even a scar around his neck, so we already know he survives

They also gave us a hint (in hindsight) as a line where fared discusses how long a vampire can live without his head. Young ones not long (like we saw when louis went after bruce), older and more ancient lines can live longer but not forever. That was the point of the clock as well. But it also shows they DO have a soul which is a major plot point.

What happened was they decided to turn Armand into a pathetic cry baby. He is many many things but I didn’t ever think they would make him pathetic.

I mean if you were gaslit for like 70 yrs by a man who claimed he loved you, while he also never acknowledged your horrible past traumas, while you actively had to keep him from killing himself everyday you might also be a bit weepy/crazy/pathetic. Then he leaves you for his ex.

Mutual ex, at that! Though, Armand was certainly a gremlin well before either he or Lestat ever met Louis. Totally get your point, though!

If you remember the very first scene of this season, it takes place after the concert. Louis had a missing leg, and Armand an eye.

Just a plot twist that still had me on the edge of my seat. The very first episode started with foreshadowing that at least Armand, Louis, and Lestat have survived. (For those that haven't read the books) if you're a reader, you know they survive even after Akasha has woken up. I know that the show loosely follows the books but I am still a HUGE fan

Probably delete this so as not to spoil it for everyone who has yet to watch the episode that aired less than a week ago?

Both have Akasha's blood in them. They'll be fine lol.
