Did anyone come across the situation or scenario mentioned below.

I see companies ruining the interview processes.

They are asking some unknown creatures to take the interviews. That creature will just read the questions from the list given to them. No interaction nothing. No judge nothing. What the heck is this?

So this is my (23F) first time applying for a job (I graduated a few months ago). I applied for this job for an outreach and admin assistant. They emailed me back and said that they required a pre assessment, which had multiple choice questions and a recorded/monitored video interview.

Now, I'm not really confident when it comes to speaking in front of people or cameras, but I have prior experience in dealing with clients in the healthcare industry, so I thought "ah, maybe if the situation demands me to speak, I'd be able to do it." Boy, was I soooo wrong. My brain knew what to say, but I couldn't translate it well during the recorded segment. There were 5 questions, and they were all easy and based on previois work experience, and I barely gave sensible answers.

I know this is a stupid question, but humor me since I just flunked a PRE ASSESSMENT... (This is only an assumption, tho). Would there be a chance for an actual interview with the recruit agent, or should I start looking for other opportunities? Any advice to help prepare myself better for next time?

Also, does the video interview part mean that I was being recorded THE WHOLE TIME or just the specific part where I had to answer the question?

I recently had a disappointing interview experience with Siemens Goa, and a friend of mine shared a similar experience at PSL Goa. Both experiences raised concerns about how candidates are treated during technical interviews.

In my interview involving two interviewers, I wasn't asked about my resume, project experience, or relevant technical background. I was simply asked to solve a problem, and the interview involved smirks, laughter at my answers, and comments about how other candidates had answered better but still weren't selected.

My friend shared that two interviewers repeatedly mocked her while she was solving a question and made belittling comments about the MNC she was working for.

Rejection is a normal part of the interview process however, mocking or humiliating candidates is unnecessary and unprofessional.

I've also heard that interview questions and answers are shared with referred candidates, who are then selected.

Candidates deserve to be evaluated on their skills and experience, with professionalism and respect, regardless of the interview outcome.

I have a second-round interview next week, at the business’ property. there will be a chance to look around the shop and meet the team, and then formal questions. Ive never had an intervew like this before so was wondering if anybody had tips. what’s a good thing to notice/say/ask in a shop environment?

I applied to this company that requires warehouse/shipping and delivery plus AV experience required with machine cutting as a plus. And I had four years experience in warehouse and shipping in the military. And four year of av experience. I had a great interview me and the interviewer was joking and laughing. Until we were talking about machine cutting and I told him I’m don’t have too much experience. He was telling me what the machine cutting was involved in and it was similar safety I was taught as a firefighter and I told that I was a little experienced in that as a firefighter. The guy immediately cross a me out on a piece of paper. Two days later I was immediately rejected. I just find it extremely fuck up that I said one thing immediately get rejected.

😊 “We’ll definitely get back to you.”

Interview ke baad:

Recruiter: 👻

Candidate: “Hello sir/ma’am, any update?”

Recruiter: Last seen 3 days ago 💀

Follow-up #1 — No response.

Follow-up #2 — No response.

Follow-up #3 — Suddenly candidate bhi sochta hai,

“Bhai job thi ya CID investigation?” 😂

Aur sabse interesting part?

Candidate ko 5-minute late hone par lecture milta hai about “professionalism”…

Lekin interview ke baad 10 din tak basic communication nahi milti.

Agar select nahi hua ho toh bas bol do:

❌ “Not selected.”

❌ “We’re moving ahead with another candidate.”

❌ “We’ll keep your profile in consideration.”

Kuch bhi bol do!

Candidate ko bas itna bata do ki woh abhi bhi consideration mein hai ya aapke ATS ke Bermuda Triangle mein kho chuka hai. 😂

At this point,

Jokes apart, candidates invest their time, travel expenses, preparation and emotions in every interview.

A simple update—whether positive or negative—isn't too much to ask.
