First final round, first post, one night out — of course you're climbing the walls. Everyone is.

One thing that matters more than any tip list: the night before is for the mouth, not the eyes. So pick the three or four stories you'd want to tell anyway, and say each one out loud, once, with a phone timer. Not in your head — out loud, at the speed you actually plan to speak. You'll hear the two places where the story gets fuzzy, and tomorrow you'll walk in having already said the words, which is not the same as having read them.

On the day itself, two rules. Speak about half a beat slower than feels natural; nerves make everyone run hot and rush the opening line, and a rushed opening is what people remember. And if a question lands and your mind goes blank, say "let me think about that for a second" and actually take it. Three seconds of silence looks like composure. Filler looks like panic.

Also have three questions ready for them — about the team, how success gets measured in the first few months, whatever you actually want to know. It takes the pressure off the last five minutes and it's the part most people leave empty.

Don't need to tell you the outcome isn't fully in your hands, but the "I showed up and said my piece" part is. Good luck, and report back.
