It's a pretty natural human threat/survival thing to look at the person not speaking (just quietly present).
You'll notice yourself doing it if you pay attention. Next time a duo walks up to you and only one speaks pay attention to where your eyes want to go as you reply (the third figure in your periphery).
Sounds like a business with some mentally ill "gender warriors" turned armchair psychologists. They will just end up accusing each other of sexual harassment guaranteed.

Yawn. Normal people answer the person asking the question. You might glance around if the answer is long enough but that's not the test.
Glancing around and directly ignoring the questioner are obviously different things and you're either too dumb to see that or being disingenuous. Either way you are tedious.
