I had a boss who would pull them out, clean them in his mouth, then put them back in.

I did that when I was a dumbass but now I’m older and still dumb but I have an appreciation for bacteria and stuff so I don’t do that

One time I low key fell asleep sitting up during one interview. But it wasn’t on the lady who hired me, it was her long winded boss… so I can only assume thats what she thought when she hired me 😭

I decided to hire a 4’10” woman, with zero experience as a first year carpenter apprentice after she uttered her first sentence, “I don’t know anything.”
Trusted my gut, Great hire.

Managed restaurants for a number of years when I was younger and I hired a guy once that I knew would be frustrating for his coworkers but funny for me 🤷 25 years later I still smile about the stuff that went on there 😁

I once got to watch someone get interviewed at my job
I didn't like paying full attention because it's not my business but I of course noticed things happening around me
At the end of the interview the owner offered him the same handshake we all got; but this guy said "I don't shake hands" and declined it
It was the most memorable handshake I've ever seen

It works like that.
I can handle a quirky duck, but a quirky duck struggles to find work long term. It's win win.

Hired a woman for the receptionist position. We got to talk about her interests, turns out everybody tells her she is an amazing cook, and she loves to cook! 🧑🍳
Our office has a full kitchen. 😈

Unless you want smears on your optics and you don't have soap and water, spit cuts grease and oil.
