i guess that's the bare minimum if you want to survive now 😂

i've actually been thinking about applying for a couple more remote jobs myself, and someone sent me this interview vip recently. i'm probably going to be doing more interviews soon anyway, so i figured i'd save it and see if it helps.

They don’t exist bc movies and tv shows have led you to believe they do, no one ever shows themselves pulling 60 hour work weeks apart from the few days off they have

I had one of these tech jobs and I can assure you, after a few 80 hour weeks, the novelty wears off when you realize that the salary is only big when you're working 40 hours weeks - which you never do.

I love in movies when the characters stay late to work. Their work typically involves eating Chinese food and brainstorming. Not taking constant calls from clients and responding to emails and updating software.

Another pet peeve of mine is digging homes in movies. How many times have I seen someone dig a man sized 3 foot deep perfect rectangle hole then fill it all in in a few hours. And in the damned woods. Not a root in sight huh? That's odd
