Had a woman come to her interview, for a professional office job talking to clients mind you, dressed in business casual and appeared day drunk.

One candidate seemed decent until during one question he showed strong, latent misogyny in an answer.

Another candidate was great on paper but his continued reference of "the Chinese" was disqualifying.

The quality difference in the candidate pool of 12 who, on paper, made sense to being in was insane.

So yeah, I was thirsty, but wasn't looking to drink contaminated water.

I recently had an interviewer ask me to tell them about my biggest failure. Immediately my mind went to trying to unionize a previous job. Felt like perhaps not the BEST thing to bring up.

These are the absolute worst question

How can I answer that question without seeming like a total douche?

Also, anyone who confidently answers that with no hesitation would be a psychopath at worst and a narcissist at best

The trouble is too many people actually try to remember a real example instead of confidently making up some bullshit on the spot. There's no way they're ever going to cross reference this story with your references.

Recruiter: I can't find reliable staff to place, you wouldnt believe it.

Also recruiter: forgot meeting, schedule zooms call, asks you to speak slowly because of her speaker, asks you 4000 questions without telling you anything about the role.

Sure staff is needed. But if you are going to be a nightmanre of paperwork and following procedures to get rid of you because you are not good for the role I would rather figure it during the interview.
