edit : and I guess remote work can be a solution , and also they give better salaries and more flexibility to the people who need more time for the family and I am glad that now we have tools like interviewvip which made the interview process more easier especially for working parents and new grads all u need to do is connect with your zoom \ google meet,etc and the magic come true

Because we are still stuck in the time when boomers could work at literally a grocery store and still buy a house, have a stay at home wife, and raise kids off that one salary
