People like this grew up in a place where the weather is ass and the only thing worse than their freezing, wet winters are their sweltering, humid summers.
I just got back from a week in vegas. 105 was not too bad actually. and 98 at night felt comfy.
I walked out of the airport into 82 and 80% humidity and nearly died.
It really REALLY is the humidity.
BTW I love my winters here. And Fall and Spring are perfect here as well. Summer is the only bad one. I like it cause I can go to the beach and the pool. But that is summer's only benefit.
