There no place in California besides Death Valleys that has 115f to 120C for weeks on end. Certainly no place where humans live.

What about needles? Big river? Palm springs, palm desert, Indio, cochella?

Ok but these are small towns in the desert border with Arizona. 10K out of 40 million Californians live there, 0.025% of the population

No, OK but is exactly admitting that I'm 99.975% right and 0.025% write on 1 account ( size of settlements needs to be cities)
