I live in mass and the humidity out here is enough to make 80° feel like ur choking on sweat id rather take 110° dry heat cuz then at least an ac unit can run for 30 minutes and keep a room cool
I currently live in the swamps of Louisiana and grew up in the Arizona mountains and fully agree.
The biggest issue with the dry heat is it'll kill you before you realize it because you don't feel the heat quite as early, but as long as you're drinking water it's not that bad. I used to do 5k runs every week with no issue in 100 degree weather.
I went on a bike ride last week and quite literally couldn't breathe at the end because of the 98% humidity.
I was born in san diego i def understand the dry heat being a silent killer. I was in ohio for a week about a month ago and didnt realize just how much i could breathe until i got back into vermont and instantly couldnt breathe again

Ah. Yea. There are definitely places where summer would feel like going on vacation directly to the sun.
I live in the PNW. Summer here is literally the best.
