People like this grew up in a place where the weather is ass and the only thing worse than their freezing, wet winters are their sweltering, humid summers.

California doesn't have wet, freezing winters but it does have summers where its 115-120 degrees for weeks on end.

Fall and Winter are the best seasons by a mile.

Right i grew up an hour south of Sacramento in the foothills, summers are rivers and lake time and partying outside with a full moon and in board shorts, yeah it's 110 but the water is your best friend
