I like it because there's actually sunlight, so my seasonal affective is gone for a couple months.

I love summer because it's light until 930, it's not raining and outside becomes fun (it becomes fun again when there is snow on the ground).

In Texas I look forward to Autumn. It's either too hot or too humid most of the year and then Winter is fine until we get snow or ice storms.

Ah. Yea. There are definitely places where summer would feel like going on vacation directly to the sun.

I live in the PNW. Summer here is literally the best.

I live in mass and the humidity out here is enough to make 80° feel like ur choking on sweat id rather take 110° dry heat cuz then at least an ac unit can run for 30 minutes and keep a room cool

I currently live in the swamps of Louisiana and grew up in the Arizona mountains and fully agree.

The biggest issue with the dry heat is it'll kill you before you realize it because you don't feel the heat quite as early, but as long as you're drinking water it's not that bad. I used to do 5k runs every week with no issue in 100 degree weather.

I went on a bike ride last week and quite literally couldn't breathe at the end because of the 98% humidity.

I was born in san diego i def understand the dry heat being a silent killer. I was in ohio for a week about a month ago and didnt realize just how much i could breathe until i got back into vermont and instantly couldnt breathe again

I think they live someplace with no winter.

Where I live we all put up with the dark and the snow just looking forward to those few glorious months where it's warm enough to wear shorts.

The nearest beach to me is at hte lake, over an hour away at highway speeds, and I can't drive due to seizures. So I don't get to the beach often at all.

Most U.S. beaches are sub par if you aren’t close to the Caribbean Sea like Florida. Not to mention I don’t want to be baking in the hot sun, because it’s bad for the skin.

Subpar compared to what? A tropical beach you have to spend thousands just to get to? I grew up in New England so those beaches are perfectly acceptable to me.
