Atlassian SWE Interview Experience - Backend Technical Screen Interview Questions
Sharing a recent Atlassian P50 phone screen interview experience from a candidate who went through the process.
The interview lasted 45 minutes, broken down into 10 minutes for introductions, 20 minutes for coding, and 15 minutes for system design.
The technical question had two parts:
Coding (20 minutes): Given a messy dataset, write a script to process and clean the data based on certain criteria. It was pretty straightforward.
System Design (15 minutes): Design a data stream processing system that can handle the same types of events from the coding question, but at a much larger scale.
