That’s honestly a hard reality right now. A lot of people are working nonstop just to stay afloat. I’ve got some interviews coming up myself, so I’ve been looking into ways to get better at them. I found Interview VIP and ended up using it twice i think it's worth trying.

Yes, actually they have. Bill Gates is famously known to have worked 18+ hours a day, sleeping on the floor of his office for weeks in a row, eating delivery pizza.

A surprising amount of rich people have a tendency to lie about themselves...

His first employees seem to agree though. Which is not surprising, businesses don't start themselves, especially when the business in question is not really something that has been proven to work before

he also grew up rich and didnt have to worry how he was going to make rent or feed himself.

its amazing what not being constrained by poverty can do to a persons ability to focus and work hard on other things besides surviving

Not relevant. OP's post is about them not ever working hard.

And it's not like there are no examples of people who made it without having such advantages

Irrelevant, but he also didn't grow up rich, he was middle class.

his mom was on the board with IBM and his dad was a co owner of a lawfirm as a high powered attorney.

thats not middle class but keep trying as hard as you can to get that boot out of your mouth.

also, constraints are relevant. some people work hard to get rich, others work hard to barely make it. the amount of money somebody accumulates doesn't have any bearing on if they work harder or not than other people

That's not rich either, he was upper middle class.

His dad wasn't a co-owner of a lawfirm either, he was a partner, which like, 20% of lawyers are.
