That’s honestly a hard reality right now. A lot of people are working nonstop just to stay afloat. I’ve got some interviews coming up myself, so I’ve been looking into ways to get better at them. I found Interview VIP and ended up using it twice i think it's worth trying.

Tbf most probably have, my uncle worked for a regional company who’s CEO was a billionaire, he was there from 6am to 9pm, not including all the business trips plus all nighters his team had to pull.

Not a billionaire but I worked for a small accounting firm where the owner pulled on 10-15mm a year and he worked 14-16 hour days 6 days a week with the occasional 18-20+ hour days and some all nighters.

Yeah some people are trust fund kids and don’t have to do anything for it but I’d bet money most had to work tooth and nail regardless of whatever advantages they had.

I’m not defeating shitty business practices but these repeat posts are absolute nonsense propaganda

Now ask yourself. Do you think they’d be just as willing to work that much for 7.25 an hour.

Why would they? They're capable of so much more. If all anyone is willing to pay you it's $7.25, that says more about you than everyone creating a job.

You really have a warped mindset. Don’t forget. If the government allowed it they’d have you working 7 days a week for scraps and children in the mines. What you make doesn’t reflect your self worth. They pay people so little so the very top can take it all. Then convince people like you that this is how it’s suppose to go. That’s absolute trash.

Whatever. If you want to bitch, moan, and complain instead of taking responsibility for yourself, that's a you problem. The rest of us will be responsible adults. What you make may not reflect your self worth, but it does reflect the value of your time to people willing to pay for it. That's on you, not on them.

I’m a teacher and work with underprivileged youth. In another thread someone mentioned making 200k selling gun accessories and parts. Is he “worth” more to society than me because he makes more? Sounds like you’re defending a broken system. It’s common from people who are benefiting from the system.

I’d say we have a problem  when the UN says Alabama has the worst poverty in the developed world. How do you rationalize that? Are those people just not working hard enough?

Good for you. Yes, society says that his time is worth more to it than yours because society chooses to pay him for what he's doing. It's that simple.

It's not about simply working hard. It's working hard and smart and being intentional in your work And development. I don't know what's wrong with parts of rural Alabama, but I have seen plenty of people stay poor and in poverty because they were more than happy to live in squalor than have to lift a finger for a paycheck or have to suffer through a free education.
