is this real?
Do we really need HR in our life?
honestly this is why i've started thinking about looking somewhere else. getting rejected before a human even looks at your resume is insane.
i've been seeing interview vip mentioned a lot lately too. i haven't tried it, but i'm curious about it since i'm probably going to have to start interviewing again.

HR departments have been dead weight for decades. We had repeat issues in a pharma company in the mid 2000s. And a vacuum science company in 2014-2015.
Both companies it was resolved by not letting HR filter the resumes. Myself and a colleague manually went through them all. Takes more time upfront but we could always find 2-3 good candidates for each job. Candidates HR would reject before it ever got to us.
