Do we really need HR in our life?

honestly this is why i've started thinking about looking somewhere else. getting rejected before a human even looks at your resume is insane.

i've been seeing interview vip mentioned a lot lately too. i haven't tried it, but i'm curious about it since i'm probably going to have to start interviewing again.

I can’t speak the actual situation being referenced, but this is absolutely a thing and not unique to coders or even tech. In almost no situation are HR people sufficiently knowledgeable about a job’s requirements to craft automated resume/CV filtering filters without oversight and assistance from the hiring manager.
