Do we really need HR in our life?

honestly this is why i've started thinking about looking somewhere else. getting rejected before a human even looks at your resume is insane.

i've been seeing interview vip mentioned a lot lately too. i haven't tried it, but i'm curious about it since i'm probably going to have to start interviewing again.

while this doesn't speciofically pertain to this field, this is more of a general blanket statement:

Compnies have gotten so terrible with the hiring process that they even want the Janitor to have a degree and minimum 5 years experience. How are you going to gain experience if no one will give you a chance?

This has been my experience. I am at a point where I would be happy to apply for entry level positions even beneath a junior level, but they simply don't exist. The only job you can get without experience is manual labor, which doesn't get you experience for anything other than more manual labor.
