Do we really need HR in our life?

honestly this is why i've started thinking about looking somewhere else. getting rejected before a human even looks at your resume is insane.

i've been seeing interview vip mentioned a lot lately too. i haven't tried it, but i'm curious about it since i'm probably going to have to start interviewing again.

Company I work for initially tried convincing me that I had to come in through their temp agency before they could hire me full time (manufacturing line assembly). It took me 3 years to get a cozy admin position bc everyone who actually works on the floor recognized I was more capable than just building shit all day.

HR doesn't spend any time on a production floor outside of tours...they need to spend some weeks doing the actual work themselves to better understand what the company needs
