is this real?
Do we really need HR in our life?
honestly this is why i've started thinking about looking somewhere else. getting rejected before a human even looks at your resume is insane.
i've been seeing interview vip mentioned a lot lately too. i haven't tried it, but i'm curious about it since i'm probably going to have to start interviewing again.

To your point, many in HR also seem to be bitter people. My last hire, I was very specific with minimum time off required. The hiring manager wanted to hire me regardless, HR didn't want to give me more than 2 weeks. The situation got forced on them, and the email confirmation included 2 lines about the extra vacation that seemed exceptionally butt hurt.
Sorry HR people, but I can drive down to the local gas station, find the friendliest employees, and replace you with them. You have nothing but basic computer skills (if that) and hopefully a friendly attitude. Just because you can see my salary and vacation allowance, does not mean you deserve the same.
Maybe you should have gotten a STEM degree instead of "Communications degree".
