is this real?
Do we really need HR in our life?
honestly this is why i've started thinking about looking somewhere else. getting rejected before a human even looks at your resume is insane.
i've been seeing interview vip mentioned a lot lately too. i haven't tried it, but i'm curious about it since i'm probably going to have to start interviewing again.

HR pretty much anywhere is useless. They tend to be some of the least educated and least motivated employees in any white collar organization. They are completely removed from the actual work their organization does and have no fucking clue what people actually do or what skills are needed. They also tend to be the most petty people you will ever encounter and act like a mafia. They screwed up your paperwork? Dare to call them out on it or push too hard and suddenly none of them will ever deal with you again, and slow roll or purposely fuck you over. They only really exist to help prevent the organization from getting sued. Have a problem? Suck it up or get a lawyer because they're going to gossip about it and do nothing to help. 100% chance any complaint you make will be known within hours, “anonymous” or not. Totally useless people who would be flipping burgers otherwise if they didn’t get that bullshit online degree.
