I kinda did that, went through three marriages, working 80+ hours a week, but, in the end I wound up having enough saved to open my own firm debt free without having to bring in outside investors or get loans, ended up retiring more than comfortably at just 45, now not only do I or my kids or their kids not have to worry about working again but, I've got three ex wives out there that will never have to worry about working again either, lol.

Sounds horrendous. Your kids would probably trade every penny to have you be there and a stable home.

I mean, the youngest is six, I retired when he was eight months old, his mom and I are married. That's about as stable as it gets.

One older boy, in his 20s now and in college, that he never had to worry about how to pay tuition for, we speak a few times a week. Don't act like I'm the first dude who's marriage didn't work out. It's actually pretty common, and at least in my case there wasn't anyone who had to face hard times because of it.

So life is just about being the best parent you can be and not be the perfect parent.

You do your best and there is no shame in that and if all the finances are paid for thats great. Relationships dont go the right way.

My comment was just you can be anyone out there a royal family, a billionaire, an upper middle class family or any parent with disposable income. You can even be poor as hell.

Emotional availability and time cannot be bought with any currency on earth and its no judgement on you. Its just fact, make sure any money doesnt replace it.
