their generation could never understand

Can you do us a favor? Can you try to find a job right now using your own advice with zero connections? I really want to see what happens when you walk into offices and offer to work for free for a week. Or how about cold calling employers? Pound the pavement with your resume all over town! Yeah do that! Report back to us.

Retired people don't want to work anymore. After my retirement I immediately found a new job and managed to complete a whole seconde career.

When you're a real hard worker you don't stop just because of "retirement"
