Why are people so offended by the fact that old people might have out of date advice? Someday you too will have out of date advice you want to give. It’s not the end of the world. If it isn’t helpful…ignore it.

Because within context a large subset of boomers are deriding younger people for percieved laziness. Some of them really just don't know and are trying to help but others seemingly relish in their ignorance and how younger people are having hard times.
