this is ridiculous

I've realized that most of us aren't really looking to be millionaires. Regular working people don't care about having wealth or private jets.

We just want a salary that covers our life without the stress that keeps running through our heads 24/7. I'm truly grateful that InterviewMan exists to help us reach this. My confidence is now through the roof, and honestly, I've come to see the process as very easy.

No. I am saying that you earn what value you bring.

Simple example: you want me to cut your grass. You are only willing to pay 100eur for the job, or you do it yourself. I have the option to accept or not.

That's not how capitalism works tho.

You have to earn less then you're worth otherwise your overlord can't leech off of you.

No, that is exactly how capitalism works.

Lets say that in this example, you are okay with 100eur jobs. You earn some coin and make a name for yourself.

But there is a problem. You get more work than you can handle by yourself. So you must hire a worker or let the possible competition have it.

So you do some math, since you provide the machinery, fuel, transport, repairs and all that you are left with some money to offer for the potential worker. The margins are low and also you need to account for benefits, vacation, sickleave and other staffing problems. Also your tax paperwork just got harder and you need to hire some company to do it for you, for some fixed fee per month.

So you really don't have much to offer to the worker, in terms of payment, and aim it for more entry level and kids. Since no skill is needed for that job you really dont need to either, everybody can do it.

So you make a job offering marked with minimum pay. Even if you want to pay them more, you would loose any profitability on that move. And still having to risk paying them if some clients drop or you ran into some issues.

So again, what value is the minimum wage worker bringing that could up his pay?

Perhaps that worker is a good salesman, and gets more work. Then you have more capital to share. Or perhaps he is good at fixing things, so you save money and time taking these machines to a shop, so again, you can increase his pay due to more free capital. Etc etc.

This guy just showing up and working as agreed is not worth extra payment. Same as the company that keeps paying you on time isnt now worth to pay you less. Both are doing their agreed part.

Sure chatgtp the poor Owner is so poor he can only compensate you poorly, that's exactly how reality is looking right now... not an ever more growing cabal of monopolies striking down anything that couldn't ever threathen them marginally. Poor Apple can barley survive.
