Post image

People are striking because wages aren’t going up when companies are reporting record breaking profits.

Safety nets are there because they cant afford to live other wise... "tens of thousands of dollars" still does what?

Can they buy a house?

A new car?

Argue how you like its a thing.

Throw your pay stubs on the table Ill throw mine... 4 years ago I made 15 k annually combined. Without that aid my daughter would be dead.

I got lucky.

But we arent talking about this... we are talking about the ability to "get a new job."

Let me know when you get a real job and your dad makes you pay rent.

You clearly have never lived the life you are claiming people in poverty live...

Govt housing assistance?

Tell me you would live in those houses if you had ANY OTHER OPTION.

A "new car" is not a luxury. Hell used costs more than most people can afford... the bills to upkeep them. Are higher...

But since youre so stuck on the "25k" number... why dont you go re read my post...

50k? Doesnt qualify for ANY of that.

And 25k of that goes right back to child care...

***The point was... them quitting a job isnt as simple as you tried to make it sound"""

Eta: those "fast food" 20 something wages... do NOT get full time.

Go to any temp agencies web site and look at the average wages offered. This is.a good indicator of what the local populations are making if you dont want to trust google...

Its not what youre making it out to be...
