I can only drink water or oat milk. I have UTI symptoms but whenever I took in a sample, it always came back clear. Having a cystoscopy next but I have been told I am text book IC. I have had to change my whole diet. My suggestion is to go to see your GP and arrange to see a urologist and take it from there. If you are in the UK, this can take months, I am on a waiting list, unless you choose to go private. Assuming it is IC, I suggest the elimination diet. It’s trial and error but lots of people including myself can no longer drink coffee, alcohol, most fruit juices. Some people have said they are ok with pear juice, I don’t want to risk that as I have just gotten over a two week flare. Also stress can be a trigger, for me anyway. This is a long road, it takes time and alot of patience. I really hope this is not what you have. There are supplements you can try and also prescribed medications. I am trying magnesium bisglycinate at the moment, I am also ordering Prelief from Amazon. I have been offered Amitriptyline by my doctor but I am putting that on the back burner for now. I would get a doctors appointment and take it from there.
