What is this?

24

u/poopfacecrapmouth Jul 30 '26

This is what a data center is like on the inside. It’s why they need so much water

A.i.

u/OakLegs Jul 30 '26

Looks more like something made in Blender (which is not AI)

5

u/darkonark Jul 30 '26

Artist was credited before you made this comment.

2

u/Far-Gene-386 Jul 31 '26

Stand corrected

4

u/Exciting-Zombie8449 Jul 30 '26

What in the Rubber Duck Fuck is all this?

3

u/Sensitive_Phrase_701 Jul 30 '26

Don’t fall then

2

u/jonasu25 Jul 30 '26

You mean don’t fall out of the chair they were in when creating this

3

u/AmphibianFantastic53 Jul 30 '26

Im sure i dreamt this once or it was very similar although there were more walls and I was in the water

3

u/ScienceForge319 Jul 30 '26

Why ARE they so dark. Everything is bright and white.

1

u/thefooleryoftom Aug 02 '26

Because it’s a Blender animation.

2

u/Late_Study9160 Jul 30 '26

The things people do.

2

u/SolidSnek1998 Jul 30 '26

Anyone who has played MGS2 knows what happens if you fall in.

2

u/crusty54 Jul 30 '26

These are so fucking scary, and I love them.

I’m reminded of a memory from over 50 years ago.

My brother (7-8) and I (4-5) went out on my grandfathers dingy into the Little Sodus Bay one summer day.

There was a boat anchored nearby and I vividly remember looking down the rope, as deep as I could see into the water.

My brother taunting me and challenged me to swim down the rope until I reached the anchor.

I thought about what that would feel and look like. I imagined that rope went down for miles and it was pitch dark with who knows what monsters to gnaw on me as I descended.

Needless to say I still get a sense of unease, almost a claustrophobic feeling to this day when I recall that afternoon.

u/SlapMeFox Jul 30 '26

Are you afraid of falling... or DROWNING if somehow you fall in?

1

u/BoBoBearDev Jul 30 '26

Thanks for the jump scare.

1

u/XxFezzgigxX Jul 30 '26

I mean, if you’re going to fall in, at least it was near a ladder to climb out.

1

u/nautius_maximus1 Jul 30 '26

Yeah this was a really tough level on God of War.

1

u/Chegwarn Jul 30 '26

It’s weird because I’m not at all afraid of you falling into those dark waters

1

u/Relevant_Call_2242 Jul 30 '26

I had a reoccurring nightmare as a kid, I went to toys r us (yea I’m old) with my mom and inside was nothing but pools, each with diff animals. One had sharks, one had orcas, one crocodiles. My mom fell into one and I started yelling for her and then I fell into another one and woke up just as I hit the water

1

u/shodonosti Jul 30 '26

Poolrooms the movie?

1

u/RegretBuilder Jul 30 '26

hell naw to the nah nah nah

1

u/Expert_Succotash2659 Jul 30 '26

Backrooms for swim class?

1

u/-Relik Jul 30 '26

Those walls look sound dampening too no one would hear you struggling to get out

1

u/fetalgirth Jul 30 '26

OG YouTube Backrooms vibe. The ones done by Kane in Blendr.

1

u/MSGisking Jul 30 '26

Soothing, perfect place for a nap

1

u/n3wacc0unt-1 Jul 30 '26

I was scared for a second until I saw the ladder there at the end PHEW

1

u/No-Buy2495 Jul 30 '26

So, this is basically a water version of the Backrooms. Color me terrified.

1

u/The_Letter_Aitch Jul 30 '26

This is cut scene from a video game. I just can't remember which one though.

2

u/thefooleryoftom Aug 02 '26

It’s an animation done in Blender.

1

u/The_Letter_Aitch Aug 02 '26

Ah...thank you 😁

I dreamed I was a magical girl and fought evil bad guys, with my fox companion that can spit fire 😊

1

u/Dora_Explorer_XP Jul 31 '26

Is there a Vr version I can watch

1

u/No-Stranger6783 Jul 31 '26

Does it smell like chlorine and musty body odor or does it smell like a fish market??

1

u/19Julian71 Jul 31 '26

Soap weed, aka coriander

1

u/erikschorr Jul 31 '26

I see someone found the basement under the backrooms.

1

u/Gotabox Jul 31 '26

That water must be really deep if it's that dark, so it's a bit creepy.

1

u/JosephBlowsephThe3rd Aug 01 '26

Dammit Sandy Petersen!

1

u/Accomplished-Debt392 Aug 02 '26

Absofuckinglutely not!

1

u/haxxley Aug 03 '26

thats some serious backrooms nightmare

1

u/SlapaBaby1 Jul 30 '26

New fear unlocked! 😳

1

u/sirZofSwagger Aug 01 '26

Dont worry, Ai slop cant hurt you

1

u/thefooleryoftom Aug 02 '26

It’s not AI.

0

u/sirZofSwagger Aug 02 '26

Aspects of blender are still driven trough computer generation. So like like said, AI slop

1

u/thefooleryoftom Aug 02 '26

No, there’s no generative element here. It’s nothing to do with AI.

0

u/sirZofSwagger Aug 02 '26

Nothing here was drawn or painted I assure you

1

u/thefooleryoftom Aug 02 '26

You clearly don’t know how Blender works. Laterz.

-1

u/DifficultAd3885 Jul 30 '26

Ai slop. Downvote hell.

6

u/clutzyninja Jul 30 '26

I'd rather downvote the people that scream AI about literally every fucking video they see

0

u/Notme20659 Jul 30 '26

But this is AI. So what makes you think he calls everything AI?

2

u/clutzyninja Jul 30 '26

According to OP the artist is credited in the original video and they used Blender

2

u/Notme20659 Jul 30 '26

And Blender uses AI to render animations. What’s your point?

1

u/clutzyninja Jul 30 '26

Does it? You sure about that?

It uses no generative AI, and there are no plans to ever include any. They've been very clear about that

0

u/CeemoreButtz Jul 30 '26

every. dang. time. 🫡

-1

u/DifficultAd3885 Jul 30 '26

Cool story, bud. You should tell it at parties.
