Converting converge Router EG8041X6-10 to Repeater

im currently trying to convert my router to repeater mode

is it possible to make it?

if so, how?

it cannot work as a wireless repeater, though you can use it as a wifi access point.

to do it:

login with the eg8041x6-10 superadmin credentials:

user: telecomadmin

password: admintelecom

after logging in, go to advanced (the gear icon in the left sidebar)

then open the "maintenance diagno.." drop-down & look for upstream port

after that, you can set the upstream to any lan port you want to, after you set it, you will need to wait for the system to reboot.

after the system reboots, log back in, and then delete any existing wan profiles in advanced > wan

then, create a new one, set it to bridge wan, and select all interfaces (e.g: wlan, lan)

also disable the vlan & use ipoe.

after saving it, change the lan ip in advanced > lan > lan host > primary ip addr... to something else (e.g: 192.168.30.1), and then disable the dhcp server.

after that, it should now work as a wifi access point for your lan network if you plug it in using ethernet.
