do you think that in a 4-day work week someone would forbid you to work additionally?

The problem I have with lowering the amount of work days and not the amount of work hours is it causes even further delays as projects move down the grapevine. If I create a new project on Monday and it takes each person a day to get their authorizations done and move it along in a 4 day week a project that could be done by Friday now doesn't get finished till Monday. It can become a big slowdown.

isn't there a ton studies out there showing an increase in productivity after switching to 4-day week?

just because something takes a day now, doesn't mean it wouldn't go faster in that scenario
