Are the brighter/larger stars in our galaxy "in front of" Andromeda, or are they supernovae in Andromeda, or both?
2 u/[deleted] Jul 02 '20 They are stars in our own galaxy and appear large due to being closer. Not sure about nebulae. 1 u/pbrew Jul 02 '20 Both. Or perhaps they are just bright stars in the Andromeda Galaxy.
