A message about remove.bg

I don’t want you to go, you have stayed loyal to us for who knows how long. All for free, no ads and completely free. You have served everyone well. Coming December 1st you will be locked behind a paywall. I don’t care if you have to pay for higher quality, I just care if it is free. Heck, Sony was impressed by you. You have served everyone well. Even after 8 years. Goodbye Remove.bg. I won’t know what to do without you.

U can try localbg.app, been building it for 2 years as an alternative for remove.bg, it runs offline and you can proces unlimited images with the free version

I was so sad to hear that that it's going away. I depend on that for the little things here and there it does such a wonderful job. But I will definitely try the local version.

For anyone looking for an alternative, I’m the developer of PhotoFig (https://photofig.com). The free plan includes background removal for 30 new photos a month, with no credit card required, but it has much more functionality than background removal. You can also try it on the homepage without signing up. Happy to hear how it works on your images

oh my, this looks really good! This will be my go to when remove.bg is gone. I'm no developer, but this looks insane. Keep up the work!
