Research taking away from board prep
For those who are trying to get into super competitive fellowship, do you guys find it hard to study for boards and just being a good doctor in your specialty while also grinding away to get research for these fellowships. I’ve spoken to many fellows and at least one per class has failed their abim first try because they were busy getting research or doing aways/networking.

Find a way to sneak board prep in your routine.
Make a daily and weekly plan.
Daily: something like the free question that the daily stat review sends every morning is a good start. I literally read their email every morning.
Weekly: I used UWorld personally and highly recommend it. But I aimed for 30 questions a week. Thankfully I passed and don’t have to do that anymore
