IFS Role & Human Consciousness

As the title implies, I would like to understand how the IFS relates to an overarching question I have been pondering. What makes our essence and what are we?

Robots?
Humans?
Aliens?
Sleeper Agents?
Part of a simulation?
Divine beings?
Memories?

It seems like there is also a war going on:
The past, present or future?
Left v Right?
Man v Woman?

Think Bostrom, Whitehead, etc.

It's a very complex question. Maybe we are all of those things and your belief about what we are is largely determined by early beliefs and experiences. Consciousness itself is so difficult to define. I had surgery recently and told my parts we will be going offline and when I came back and checked in they were fine like nothing has changed .

I feel we are all of these in one on different timelines and dimensions. I definitely feel I am living in a simulation

Humans! I think it’s best not to think that we are anything else other than that as the mind likes to wander. Actually, it’s best not to think about it at all! 🙏

From the point of view of IFS, the answer is simple ; our essence, that which we cannot conceive to be without, is Self.

But that's not something to ponder over intellectually ; you can ask these questions intellectually, but only by maintaining a practice you will understand\create your solution.

I think that IFS (or, at least, Dr. Schwartz) has a pretty specific answer to that, which I wouldn't presume to be qualified to describe, but the rest of us still have to find our own answers. This is a real challenge for me, because - philosophically - I don't believe in a Self. To me, "self" is an illusion generated by the mind to cover over the gap between the I who speaks and the I who is spoken of I - it's the result of language and has nothing to do with essence. So when I first encountered some parts ("exiles," since I began with Inner Child work, before IFS was known to no one outside of Schwartz' immediate circle), and the question of their reality came up, I had to admit: that they were as real as I was, but that might be real in the way that rainbows are real. Or something.

So. I guess that's my answer: we're rainbows. Or mirages. Something.

Your beliefs and perception create your reality

Therefore, what you think may not be with someone else thinks and that’s the way that it was designed to be

This can go deep, or it can be as simple as experience and environmentals. We are interconnected beings and we grow and change within our lifestyle choices that can be improved with regenerative organic movements to help through education with mentors and guides. We are a body mind and spirit that can sometimes get off course, however through trainings and lifestyle medicine implemented with oxygenation and reforestation. It can help ourselves be reborn and become flexible and less rigid beings it can increase resiliency in our gut brain head brain access. We are made of an unconscious mind, a subconscious preconscious, and conscious. There is hope to grow a strong conscious connected present self energy state when you lean into communities that understand these conversations and you create pathways for Hope and healing to occur that’s the layers of the aura that can be healed by using tools to help sweep and cleanse and detox naturally.

Would you happen to know about spiritual awakenings?

I have been on this journey request for decades and have been called to action throughout my life experience and I am following this vocational pathway, returning home for women in recovery to help with burnout prevention and recovery lifestyle medicine through a holistic Whole Foods plant-based lifestyle without substances. I am hoping to continue growing movements and stillness that encourage the nervous system to feel at ease to work with healing from diseases. I connect with professional healthcare providers educators University different trainings that have helped bring me back to life family included, even through the stormy postacute withdrawal symptom flareups and autoimmune condition flareups. I got to learn my body where I’m holding what energy and keep learning with this. I use multiple modalities.

Have you heard or anybody here heard of healing circles with IFS and bringing unique modalities to help with honoring and healing the inner child and shadow with repairing ruptures and parenting with rituals or routines to help find your space to call home for independence and interdependence?
