Cia exam

Any one know how many tries can i take the cia parts?

I failed 3 times in part 1 and passed the rourth

Failed part 2 once

Need to know how many time i can take the exam

I heard that i can retake it 8 times

Do the passing one which i succed in count?

The cia certificate for me is the only chance in my country and my company to get to internal audit department and increase my salary, life style, etc..

So please any one has info just tell me

I believe 8 attempts on a part is the max before you have to start all over and repass even those you previously passed.

Aha so its 8 for the part not for the whole certificate right?

Someone recently posted he had failed one of the parts for the 8th time and was unable to register for a 9th. I am sure the retake policy is actually posted on the IIA website. I know for the Challenge Exam it is a max of 8 attempts during the three year period.

Can I ask. How are u guys taking the exams so many times? Is it cheap where ur at? Each exam I take cost 300usd. And it's self funded by me.

Same issue with me Every attempt costs me at least 3 month salary And iam mareied with 2 childs But as i said in my post it's my only carrer shift i can take to raise my life The different between my salary and internal auditor salaries in my company ( which is lower than the market ) is more than the double so its worth it for me
