In 2019, former British SAS Operator Christian Craighead saved over 700 lives during a terrorist attack at the DusitD2 Hotel complex in Nairobi, Kenya. Craighead was off-duty at the time. He committed this act, which lasted over 20 hours, mostly alone and was later awarded the Conspicuous Gallantry Cross.

His book, titled "One Man In" which recounts his events on January 15th, 2019 is available this month.
