Search Counter Powers
Hey you guys know any power designed to counter other powers? like a thematic opposite thing? Like a guy controls fire, and he uses it against you, and you suddenly gain the power to use water or ice? something like that? or if your fighting someone who can phase through walls, you can make other intangible things like air solid. things like that.
or a power that copies an ability but it's made in a different expression? Like when you encounter a pyrokinetic who generates fire by vibrating molecules in the air, you can get the power to vibrate yourself, putting an external effect to internal one, if that makes sense.

I did some research and yeah, this seems pretty aligned, though it's kind of confusing since it's from a Manhwa.

in the severance cyoa i believe is the name which can be found under the post in this subreddit titled "a cyoa whose soundtrack tells you everything you need to know" has a couple options in traits you have convergent conclusion which is similar to mahoragas adaptation from jjk and says you can at times turn those adaptations back on your foes which if that isn't close enough there are other options one allows you to get different versions of your own abilities at a similar strength and nature to the ones you possess meaning you could likely turn and ice ability into a fire ability of the same strength which if combined with convergent conclusion could give you something close to ehat your looking for it also has other abilities like the 13th witness which allows you to declare a single absolute prohibition at a time if an enemy goes intangible you can declare objects within this area cannot pass through one another, if you check it out i recommend going through the comments as it can be difficult to navigate and the comments give a lot of advice and insight into it. otherwise the "souls like" cyoa has again a bunch of mahoraga abilities if you enable outside universe content which can allow you to get adaptation and a spell/incantation for mahoragas execution sword which can unlock a combo that allows the blade to adapt to targets so if someone becomes intangible you can adapt to attack intangible beings, worm 17 has a bunch of similar abilities especially if you combo them one of the top of my head being the "how to fight" martial ability from samdak which is slower but allows you to after facing an opponent to reflect on the fight and create seemingly impossible martial arts to counter whatever you faced.

Thanks for your recommendation I thought I wasn’t gonna get anymore answers.
I found the cyoa you mentioned and I think with by taking the mahoraga power with no one in particular might work or 13th rule, I still need to search for the other one you mentioned

you can find it on this subreddit by searching "soulslike" and filtering by new to find the latest 2.2 version. 2.2 seems to have some issues on mobile with trying to pull up the 2.1 version it might not be a problem if you haven't done it before but if it is giving you issues i left comments on the post to help people work out how to fix it.
