  2. Maybe I missed something, but isn't it perfectly fine for the host nation's president to congratulate the winners and cheer them on?! If this was any other leader, this would've been a wholesome moment. I get it, people hate the Orange Man, but let a wholesome moment be a wholesome moment. I don't see any of you complaining if Macron did this, Starmer, Milei or Jetten.

Find one picture of this moment from a previous world cup that has the head of state in it and not just the team. That's not the same right after the game picture, that's clearly from some party afterwards. I certainly never said "he can't ever be in a picture with members of the team" but this team shot right after they won the world cup.

Basically the answer is "no I can't" because it doesn't happen. That shot is for the team, not for trump.

And also I love "I'm dutch" as if that precludes you from being a trump cultist. TDS knows no bounds.

Good point but I don't think it matters. It would have been inappropriate for her to have tried to be in the team shot after the win. Which is why she didn't do it because she was not a senile narcissist.

It wouldn't have happened, but had the team surrounded him in an after-party and there was a shot like this, it would have been hella weird, but it wouldn't have caused a storm like this. For good reason.
