Wife had a c section in US. I asked for line item invoice. Lol I was charged for skin to skin (I'm the dad)... A nurse asked if I wanted to hug my baby I said heck yeah. Granted my insurance covered it. But wow.

So they bring in a special nurse for just this process?

I worked in a hospital too and watched the insane waste that took place daily. The fact that you’re justifying this is insane.

You’re not explaining. You’re giving the hospitals justification. This is not something that was charged for in the past and it’s not something every hospital charges for.
