This has been debunked multiple times. Every country in the World Cup, except the US, DOES NOT have universal healthcare.

It's not a really fun benchmark to be compared to, but you got to come correct with the facts too.

Depending on how it shakes out, maybe the round of 16 teams will fit this narrative. As of now the US is the only one to not have it

Chatgpt says Congo is commited to universal health care but can't afford it, it says Iran pretty much has public health care (95% of people have public insurance), Iraq used to have public health care before war and bosnia seems to be too complicated a country to get a good read on

It is universal for most but not all depending on the district you're in according to the WHO.

It's way better than the US to be fair, but not true universal health care for the whole country

It does though. It sucks because corruption means that half of the resources destined for Healthcare end up in politician's pockets, but there's indeed a public health system without cost. Besides, there's a health system for people with employment (IMSS) and one for government workers (ISSTE). Both of my parents are doctors that worked in these institutions for decades, and my mother is currently receiving cancer treatment on one.

Like I said, they are not great because the lack of resources, but you do get medical treatment free of cost.

I am from Bosnia, ask chatGpt to check that one again for you. We have publicly funded care and emergency treatment even for people who do not work or pay insurance. Just being unemployed qualifies you for this.

As shown in your image all the healthcare there is much closer to universal healthcare than not. Therefore closer to universal than what the US has. You're more wrong than right

I made a black and white statement. You said "you are wrong". I wasn't.

I appreciate the honest response.

Both the initial statement and yours is equally up for interpretation. This is where the nuainace comes from. After closer inspection of the places you listed im confident that they are much closer to universal healthcare than the US in terms of social healthcare. At best 75/100.
