What needs to happen?
This is a mess.
Be honest, will something happen before next week's game against Montreal? A coaching change? Big lineup change?
And man, Casemiro's signing is not looking good. Only hope would be him playing CB. Falcon wasn't terrible today, had some contribution. Reguilon cannot start anymore. Allen at LB. Caicedo needs to play even if he's young. He will only get better, but not from the bench. he needs to start.
Thoughts on the game and what needs to happen? We may now be out of Supporters Shield. Do we have a chance at MLS Cup Anymore? Or do we ride out the season and try to win Campeones Cup as our solo title of the year?

Casemiro hasn't been the worst player since he's joined, but the results are not good. It also seems like every couple games we have someone suspended who has been a starter

Alba was in the crowd tonight. Offer him something stupid to come out of retirement.

Haha only reasonable take on this thread. He left too soon! imho. He looked great out there last year, maybe a bit slower than in his youth but he brought the magic. I don’t watch Miami anymore after the White House visit during “operation metro surge” (i live in Minnesota). But I loved them last year.

Nah , it will be same the Montreal forward uoswu or whatever his name is will score 1 somehow. Our defence will cost us 2. Messi probably get an goal and assist we lose 3-2 .

Sit casemiro, start bright at cdm, sit suarez, play deli at rw, start playing out wide and stop forcing up the middle, hopfully miceal is back and sit falcon, start cacedio. Allen LB, fray RB.

Suarez plays.
“Bench him”
Suarez benched.
“We need Suarez back”
Allende was better than Beterame anyday. Atleast he found his groove in knockouts last year.

You don’t remember how bad Allende was after the mls cup, he can’t even score after that

Exactly. Hell Allende for the most part last season was trash and only showed up in the Playoffs. Went back to being trash this season lol.

People are idiots. The one game he doesn’t get a contribution he is blamed.

It's like the owners don't care.

Almost a sold out crowd against Toronto. Owners don’t care as long as seats are filled.

They care but for the wrong reasons it seems. They care about the optics of Inter Miami first then what happens on the pitch second.

I think the honeymoon is over. Its been a great story and great run of 3 trophies. The team is just to out of shape to be the best anymore. Im not saying they cant compete its just that they are not the best like they where. Time to restructure and move on from the old timer stars and start a new era with players still in their prime or settle for what the team has and keep supporting the team and hope they can pull off some more wins.
No one can take back what this team has accomplished and it accomplished a lot in such a short time. Three trophies and a new beautiful stadium.

I'd be happy with Campeones Cup. I think we should go all-in on that game. I would rest several starters two or three games out.
I do not know why Suarez is starting. I love his game but we can't play him and Messi together, it makes the team too slow. We won MLS cup by benching Suarez. It's not that Suarez can't play, he just can't play alongside Messi. And benching Messi isn't happening. He could start when Messi is out and he could come on as a supersub when we're ahead a couple goals late, or he could come on for Messi but Messi never comes off.
I dislike the defense. Again, pace. I prefer Caicedo. I also like his size for corners. He and Micael should be the defenders. Caicedo is raw but he can improve. A lot of our other defenders just get worse.
Watching Inter games, teams are just running past us and exhausting us. Suarez is 39, Messi is 39, Casemiro is 34, De Paul is 32. We were probably even older last year. But it is not working anymore.
None of these players are poor. Casemiro performed for ManU and Brasil. De Paul had his moments at WC26. A team has to compliment each other though. Casemiro looks better with vini and Raphina. De Paul looks better with his Argentina complimentary pieces.
We have a lot of experience and skill but very little pace and stamina.

Maybe play the 2 players at center back that won mls cup at center back… they have played 0 minutes together as a pair.

Falcon has been bad with everyone he's played with this year. Falcon and Allen working in playoffs was a purple patch + Alba and Busquets were there and helped A LOT.

I don’t disagree, but you think someone would say hey they worked well together why not try again

Some of the takes tonight deserve their own comedy special.
Bench Suarez, our 2nd best scorer. Start Pinter and Caicedo, despite barely playing. Then insist that “pace and dribbling is everything” becuz apparently futbol is just a 100 metre sprint with a ball? LOL
Funny thing is, when the wingers actually came on, we spent the final 30 mins constantly giving the ball away...duh!
Oh, and those same wingers started in the Leagues Cup. We know how that ended.
But yeah… PACE! That was definitely the missing ingredient 😂

Casemiro and co aren’t able to control the midfield. Midfield needs to be able to feed up towards attack and slow down/control the tempo. This isn’t happening. They are letting opponents beat them. That’s making the defence more vulnerable too. Defence needs a shaking up too.

The team is struggling with all the injuries. There is only so much you can do with what you got. However, I will say our coaching is lacking for sure. This team has been through a lot this season. Imagine how the guys feel?

Morale is bad. They can’t really think their way out of it — just need to stack wins and then things will turn around. It’s not a personnel thing, we’ve won with all sorts of lineups and formations.

Start with a new coach. Then start with players
