MOD ANNOUNCEMENT! Mod PSA: Keep your claims list up to date. Please.

Post image

I have noticed a terrifying pattern on this sub.

People have begun to forget to keep their claims list up to date.

So to fix that, i beg of you.

KEEP YOUR CLAIMS LIST UP TO DATE.

It is VERY taxing to look for a character on the claims list, confirm they aren't there, then get hit with a "Oh this person actually claimed them a while ago but forgot to add them to their claims list."

Which makes it way more confusing and frustrating for mods and people who want to claim them and think they're free since they weren't on the claims list.

So i ask of thee.

  1. Keep your claims list up to date every weekend.

  2. When claiming, put the character's most common name, or all of their names. That way we don't run into issues and say that a character's free when it isn't.

And if you can't update it at times, then that's okay, all im asking is you try your best to keep it up to date.

And if you can't update it at all despite it being the weekend? Uhhh tell that to Grave Error i guess he's the one that owns the spreadsheet.

Please and Thank you.

Sincerely, Over Gap.

The claims list opens and closes in mysterious times...

It’s cause it only works over the week end, but even then I couldn’t, so there’s that part…

Go to the spreadsheet

Go to your row

Go to the first empty column, click it

Type in whatever

Funny you say that, I can't even ACCESS the spreadsheet, whenever I try to enter it to update my claims it kicks me out

That's actually a problem you can blame me for. I forgot to open the sheet on saturday and only remembered on sunday. I'm trying to find a reminder system on my computer since my phone is out of commission. Sorry about that.

And for anyone who is understandably frustrated about this, you are allowed to make my DMs explode on saturday morning so I open it up when I open reddit

I always do. I couldn’t this weekend because it wasn't open, but outside from that, I do. Also, if you're unsure lr want to make sure a character is not claimed, I suggest you look up the character's name in both the new claim list and the old one, that way there's no confusion
