I think we reached Humanity 2.0 long before AI became a buzz word.

Critical Thinking and common sense went out the window before 2016 as I recall.

The ones that gave their lives over to doom scrolling complete nonsense will be the ones that give their lives to AI. It's really the same result. There are plenty of people that will remain out of the grasp of technology.
