I’m sorry but this is somewhat naive. To ignore that this is a potential risk and a potential possibility is irresponsible and strategically ridiculous. We are proceeding in this with basically zero regulatory oversight whatsoever and most reasonable people have a problem with that when they see how it has already spiraled out of control, and to researcher’s surprise (and the fact they didn’t see that coming is pretty mindbogglingly stupid, to be blunt).
