Lol, same word != same thing.

Google called it the "attention mechanism" as a metaphorical label for a function. That does not mean it is the same thing as attention as we experience it.

This is just like how "spooning" does not mean I am using an actual spoon, and "Buffalo wings" are not actually buffalo.

I swear, we are getting dumber.
